Rare Feathers Farm's Spangled Russian Orloffs are large, gamey-looking fowl that are very hardy to harsh winter weather. Despite a game fowl background, they are very friendly and do well with other breeds. They are slow to mature (about 8 months to egg production) but they are worth the wait. During the coldest parts of our winter, the Orloffs are the only ones that continue to lay even with temps close to 0 degrees (F).
We are working with a small, dedicated group of people to add the Spangled Russian Orloff into the APA.
